Because of the shortage of construction materials,such as sand and gravel,it is hard to pursue the coastal reclamation project in Zhejiang,so it is very urgent to find a suitable alternative material.According to the local conditions,using the local materials,we study the application of the rich muddy resource on the intertidal zone,format a technology using bagged solidified soil to build embankment,which uses the mud on the intertidal zone for construction material instead of sand and gravel,with curing agent to fill bags as the embankment core to build embankment.Through the study of the engineering properties of solidified soil and stability of paged solidified soil dike under external load,combined with the built solidified soil dike experience,test and inspection data in Taizhou,put forward a reasonable calculation method to provide a reliable basis for design method of building embankment using solidified soil.
