The construction condition for the proposed location of Meishan Harbor district automobile ro-ro & general cargo wharf in Ningbo-Zhoushan Port is complex.Adopting the method of theoretical calculation combined with the model experiment,we probe into key technologies including the site selection of the project,determination of wharf’s axial azimuth and the wharf frontage’s top elevation,as well as the hydraulic structure design.The results may serve as a reference for similar projects.
