    Abstract:

    According to the characteristics of low speed and large cyclotron motion for ship’s berthing and unberthing in mountainous rivers wharf,we adopt the scale effect correction method to calibrate the manoeuvre similarity of small-scale ship model,and conduct the simulation experiment on the hydraulic model of Jinshajiang River middle mouth pier.Test results show that it is practical and effective to use the small-scale ship model technology for the simulation of ship’s berthing and unberthing in mountainous rivers wharf,and may provide valuable basis for the related engineering design.
