    Abstract:

    Through the investigation and research on the structural type of the slope protection project and the staple acupuncture non-woven geotextiles in the Jingjiang section of the Yangtze River,this paper analyzes the potential clogging problems of non-woven fabrics in the filter layer and its effect on slope stability.The geosynthetics clogging tester is developed to carry out a series of non-woven clogging test,which is under the working conditions of simulated field.The effects of hydraulic gradient,sand thickness,sand fineness modulus,soil type and non-woven pore size on the clogging of non-woven fabrics are analyzed.The influence rules of factors of non-woven fabric clogging are discussed.
