The consistency and difference of load combinations for the marine structures in Chinese and British codes are studied in detail.It is shown that the slightly differences of load combination among the Chinese codes exist,while that of BS 6349 is inherently consistent with Eurocodes well.Finally,a real port project is provided that the amount of main rebar for bored pile under the load combinations in the Chinese code is 20% higher than British standard.
