Abstract:In order to discuss chloride diffusion due to flexural load in concrete, the influence function of concrete damage Fd under consideration of flexural load is introduced and the test data is compared with ABAQUS analysis results,in which,a subroutine based on USDFLD in the Mass Diffusion module in ABAQUS is developed to take the flexural load and mechanical damage into account.Consequently,multi-physics combined analysis of chloride diffusion due to flexural load on reinforced concrete member is achieved. The results indicate that finite element analysis has a good agreement with tests results. With the increase of load ratio, chloride diffusivity in concrete is accelerated.Furthermore, the promoting effect of tensile stress on chloride diffusion is much greater than that of compressive stress.A new method to study chloride diffusion in concrete is provided in this paper.
