Abstract:The controversy existing in the recommended formula by Specifications for Environmental Impact Assessment of Port Engineering(JTS 105-1—2011)was discussed.The influences of different quantitative methods of the parameters on the wind erosion dust source intensity were evaluated with the data from an actual example.The calculations by the formula in Compiling Technique Guide for Dust Source Particulate Matter Emission List(trail)were employed as a standard to measure the accuracy of the quantitative methods of the dimensions.The results showed that:when calculating the wind erosion dust source intensity with the formula recommended by the specifications,compared with the results by the guide,the dimension of Q should be kga.When the height of stack was higher than 15 m,the wind speed should be adjusted with height of stack.However,the calculating results of dust quantity would increase.The erosion dust calculations of different dust control efficiency measurement were similar,which meant that the integrated shielding efficiency of windbreak net was feasible for the calculation of erosion dust source intensity.
