Based on the example of wharf-expanding project of a power plant，this paper analyzes the structural characteristics and advantages of the relieving sheet pile & high piled slab structure to lay a theoretical and practical basis for marketing promotion of this wharf type through structural scheme design，economy comparison and the comparison of advantages and disadvantages.
