Several popular resistance calculation methods for slurry transportation by pipeline，including Wang Shaozhou’s way，Durand’s mode，Wasp’s formula，Turian’s equation，and Wilson’s manner are described in detail，and the results by them are given and compared with the measure data，the result of which may serve as reference for the designers and operators.
