This paper contrasts the advantages and defects of traditional technology and straight line technology of vacuum preloading,and analyzes the characteristics of the straight line vacuum preloading technology including high efficiency,high speed and low cost,etc.which is shown in the innovative practice of ground treatment in Huanghua port.
