According to the diffusion mechanism of dust, this paper suggests a simple calculation method for the dust removal system in the transfer station of bulk cargoes. The method has been validated in some projects and proves that the calculation result is consistent with that by classical theory formula, thus it can be used for the calculation, design and type selection of the dust removal system and equipment in the transfer station for bulk cargoes.
