For Yantai port Longkou port area 2×20 000-ton multi-purpose berth (berth Nos.14 &15) project pier structure retrofitting program, based on the renovation of the pier structure, pier apron and turning area, the pier can meet the berthing need of 50 000 DWT vessels, and guarantee the safety of the main structure. It may serve as reference for structure renovation of coastal port’s wharf.
