    Abstract:

    Taking the high-pile wharf subjected to the action of 30 000 DWT ship impact at a fast speed for example, we analyze the ship impact force calculated by different methods, simulate the process between a ship and a high-pile wharf by the finite element, according to the first principal stress, the third principal stress and failure criterion for concrete to judge the damages of the wharf, and determine the feasibility of the wharf’s upgrading.
