Based on two typical cases, this paper discusses the interface roughness of concrete construction in harbor engineering which plays an important role in the stability of sliding resistance, expounds the necessity of accurate simulation of the interface roughness, and provides the practical simulation techniques, which may serve as reference for the engineering design and model test concerned.
