Multi-purpose dredging support vessels are very important to ensure the dredgers continuously work efficiently, especially directly affect the effective dredging time in the open waters. This paper describes the foreign series of such ships and the configuration of such ships of the European four dredging companies, and summarizes the characteristics of them. According to the requirements of the design techniques, the paper provides a conceptual design of the target ship and calculates or selects the main technical performance, then gives the program to install bed leveling function and injection water dredging function.
