Based on the engineering practice, this paper presents the importance of the survey and design of aids to navigation engineering and the focus of work in the design phase. According to the characteristics of aids to navigation engineering, this paper puts forward problems and suggestions concerning the survey and design in information application, technology processing, as well as coordination, etc.
