Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of beach protection belts structure and considering the need of regulation works of navigation channels in Jiayu-Yanziwo section on the middle reache of the Yangtze River, the paper proposes a new style of beach protection belts structure, i.e. anti-scour wall, which has been used successfully.
