This paper discusses the waterway surveying technology including determination of the lowest navigable stage, river terrain surveying, waterway drawings and waterway regulation design and achievement evaluation proposed by Mr. Huang Jian-jiu, expounds articles in current codes, and advances matters needing further research and work to be done, so as to develop an academic discussion.
