Based on the investigation of the channel current situation and ship type of Shayinghe channel Anhui section, according to the forecast and analysis of the traffic volume, and combining with the standard ship type of the Beijing—Hangzhou Canal, this paper presents the design ship type of Shaying channel Anhui section,and further researches the design channel dimensions of the section. It also gives an analysis and calculation of the channel capacity and proposes the recommended scheme.
