Based on the field data of wind wave in lake, this paper discusses one-dimensional and twodimensional combined distributions of wind wave heights and periods in lake. According to the analytical results of continuous wave records and various statistic characteristics, the empirical distribution model of wave heights and periods and the joint distribution model of wave heights and periods are derived by methods of mathematical statistics and theoretic analysis. All these results can be adopted in the calculation of wind wave characteristics for the lake area援
