    Abstract:

    Combining with the construction practice of sand piles in the connecting structure of the West Port Terminal Project at Yangshan Deep Water Port, this paper analyzes the construction technology of sand piles,discusses the key control points, points out the necessity of the radar stableness, emphasizes the significance of the tip treatment of sand piles and quality control of pile uplifting. According to the quality test of sand piles and the current stability of the revetment, this paper evaluates the effect of soft soil foundation improvement qualitatively,and makes a prospect on the technology improvement in the future.
