    Abstract:

    There are mainly three types for the blending system, i.e. ground-style, underground tunnel-style and silo blending system, each of which has its own characteristics and scope. The port-coal blending system by silos is the most advanced one up to the present which is suitable for the building in the area with a variety of coals, frequent turnover and diverse quality. This paper discusses the key technology and restricted conditions of the port-coal blending system based on the construction experience of EMO port-coal blending system built in Rotterdam port and port-coal blending system built in Lianyungang port. Moreover, according to the components and construction of the coal blending system, this paper describes the advantages and social significance of coal blending systems built in the port, and points out matters of attention aduring the construction of the port-coal blending system.
