    Abstract:

    his paper presents the design contents, main design conditions and other basic information of hydro-structure design for a 300 000 DWT large-scale bulk cargo dock in Zhanjiang. By analyzing the structure characteristics of the bulk cargo dock, the paper determines the selection of pile type, and proposes that the optimal layout of foundation piles is the key factor for the optimization design. Furthermore, the paper researches the structural optimization design of the 300 000 DWT large-scale bulk cargo dock by analyzing and comparing the dock’s stress conditions with different bent-spacings.
