With the increase of overseas projects,there are often problems in how to select geotechnical seismic parameters.Some national seismic zoning maps or research data are insufficient,and the Chinese standard seismic system is quite different from overseas countries,and the selection of parameters will affect the cost of the whole project.There are a lot of researches on seismic parameters of geotechnical engineering,but there are few systematic summary researchs,especially on how to apply them to specific projects,with few engineering examples and weak practicability.Combined with an overseas geotechnical investigation project,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the differences between foreign standards and Chinese standards in seismic parameters as well as the precautions in selection,and puts forward the process of parameter selection.Some engineering cases are analyzed to provide guidance for the selection of seismic parameters of overseas projects.
