Abstract:LNG terminals have high seismic requirements,so seismic analysis is an important issue for LNG terminals with high pile-supported structures. In this paper, according to international standards, the modal response spectrum analysis is adopted, and the finite element software is used to analyze the seismic dynamic response of high pile-supported structures with different pile foundation layout types. The results show that different types of pile foundation layout have a greater impact on the stiffness of the structure itself, which changes the natural vibration period of the structure and allows the structure to bear different seismic loads.Batter piles have a better effect on controlling horizontal displacement under earthquakes, but the pile forces are too large;for pile-supported pier structures with multiple rows and columns, the pile foundation should be arranged symmetrically, meanwhile the side and the inner piles can adopt different slopes to improve the force condition of pile foundation.
