In order to test the foundation treatment effect of shallow soil in Macao eastern filling area,we study the characteristics,design report and key construction techniques of the foundation soil layer before and after sand filling,and analyze and compare the relevant data of the results of monitor and detection.The results show that the mechanical strength of the soft clay and filling sand is significantly improved after the foundation treatment,and the settlement after construction is controlled effectively,so as to the effect of the foundation treatment is significant.The long-term monitor result is helpful to make a more accurate prediction of the final settlement.The estimated value of foundation settlement is closer to the target value by selecting a reasonable settlement empirical coefficient ms,so that it can guide the foundation treatment of similar projects in the region.
