To deal with the contradiction between the dumping area’s high utilization rate and limited heavy draft area in the LYG-302-H1.2 bidding section of the channel dredging construction project of Lianyungang Port 300,000 ton waterway phase II project,we probe into the comprehensive planning and utilization of the dumping efficiency of No.2 dumping area.Based on the factors including the ship’s load draft,depth distribution in the dumping area and tide level variation,we propose the dumping operation method with the optimal dumping efficiency,which is feasible and can effectively improve the utilization rate of the dumping area and the efficiency of ship dumping.
