Abstract:In order to prevent the damage of ships caused by landslide surge,we take the small and medium-sized ships in mountain channel as a research object,analyze the attenuation traits of landslide surge based on physical model experiment,moreover study the failure characteristics of ships’ stability and buoyancy caused by landslide surge,and bring some suggestions to avoid the damage of small and medium-sized ships caused by landslide surge.The results show that the damage characteristics of ships in navigational,anchoring and mooring status are different.For small and medium-sized ships in mountain channel,the buoyancy is easier to be damaged than the stability.The small and medium-sized ships in direct shock region are easier to be damaged than outside direct shock region.It can provide references for the similar projects.
