Based on the analysis of current consumption situation and supply pattern of natural gas around Bohai region,this paper proposes that the LNG maritime import concentrated in winter in this area and LNG berth utilization extremely imbalanced during winter and other seasons.According to the characteristics of regional LNG transportation and the current utilization rate of berths,the utilization rate of LNG berths is further studied in detail in the season of dilution and peak season.Combined with the development status and trend of LNG vessel type,calculation parameters of throughput capacity of LNG berth are designed.On this basis,it is reasonable to calculate the throughput capacity of a LNG berth around Bohai region in the near and medium term,which is 5 million to 5.5 million tons,and put forward the direction of potential tapping of berth capacity in the future.The conclusion of this study can provide reference for the planning and design of regional LNG terminal.
