Abstract:The scale of the pebble sand wave in Doulizi is large,and the characteristics of pebble transportation and riverbed evolution directly affect the evolution of the downstream channel and the channel stability.We apply the physical moving bed model experiment,analyze the measured data,and obtain the form and the motion law of the pebble ripples in Doulizi,and the influences of the waterway.The results show that,the form of pebble sand ripples is in the sand ridge stage,the wave crest and wave though are not stable,and the law of motion is obviously irregular.The pebble sand wave in Doulizi moves violently in the water-rising phase,while move lenitively in the water-falling phase,such motion law of pebble sand wave is obtained by amending previous achievements.The pebble sand wave in Doulizi has not occur in the main navigation waterway,and has disappeared before entering the waterway of Dongxikou,which generates no obvious effect on the waterway.
