The river estuary of Hanjiang River belongs to typical reaches with dams on both sides.The channel is slightly curved with a single trough.According to The Inland Navagation Development Plan of Hubei(Revised),this reach will be raised to phrase II in the 13th Five-Year Period(2016—2020).Based on river terrain data,this paper probes into the bed evolution rule,influential factors and navigation-obstructing characteristics from the bed plan,thalweg longitudinal profile and deep trough changes of the reach,and puts forward corresponding regulation solutions to navigation-obstructing shallow areas and provides the basis for the river’s waterway regulation.
