Abstract:The stability section of large dolosse armor of sloping breakwater under deepwater and swell action obtained by scale model test appeared damages during construction, which occurred again after the repair design and test verification.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the differences between the damages found on site and phenomenon observed on the model,we put forward problems in the third-time model test such as rod damages due to the rock shaking and rolling, and overall decline due to that small blocks support large ones.Increasing the block mass and through re-verification,we achieve the stability of the repair scheme. Moreover, the fact that shaking leads to the rod crack and breakwater damage is revealed.
