Abstract:In order to meet the production and operation needs of Yangshan deep harbor, the departments concerned hope to retain a Kezhuashan-Jianggongzhu tidal channel, which is not consistent with the overall planning arrangement. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the research on the adjustment of the shoreline function of the west port area of the Yangshan deep harbor. The channel of Kezhuashan side has a trend around cape flow characteristics ,and the Jianggongzhu side is promontory surrounded by features. Based on this understanding, we carry out a variety of shoreline test scheme.The test results show that the flow conditions in the channel and built port areas can be maintained and even improved after a proper optimization of the shoreline.From the point of view of tidal current, it is feasible to retain and develop the Kezhuashan-Jianggongzhu tidal channel, after reasonable coastline arrangement and appropriate engineering measures.
