For the change of fluvial sedimentation characteristics and the channel condition in the typical reach of fluctuating backwater zone in the Three Gorges Reservoir after the 175 m impoundment,and based on the recent continuous maps of Luoqi reach,we carry out a comparative analysis of the annual fluvial sedimentation process in Luoqi reach and study the characteristics of annual fluvial sedimentation,and obtain the influence on the channel condition,which may serve as reference for the maintenance of the channel and navigation safety of the ship.
