Abstract:Quay 28 of Hadarom port under construction is all vertical standing pile structure with beam and slab.In addition,we apply caissons as the retaining wall for the reclamation area in the rear,and dump rocks between steel pipe piles to form revetment.Aiming at the great construction difficulty of this complex structure,we use numerical modeling of wave field and physical model test to analyze the design purpose of this complex structure.As a consequence,the caissons can provide shield for the reclamation and sheet pile construction in the back before the main breakwater extension is completed.The rocks are dumped between steel pipe piles,which can reduce the wave reflection by caissons.Meanwhile,some cross sectional design optimizations are purposed according to the actual implement situation to guarantee the construction progress successfully.
