There are many empirical formulas of local scour depth around regulation structure at present，but the scope of application is small，and the calculating result is out of line with the actual situation.To solve the problem，this paper deduces the general scour depth formula from mechanism,corrects the formula and determines the relevant parameters according to the actual situation.The results show that local scour depth around regulation structure is related to water depth before project,the velocity amplitude before and after engineering,turbulence intensity of flow and the adjustment of flow,etc.The parameters of k,λ and n in the scour formula have a great influence on the calculation result.The correction formula has some advantages over the standard formula.
