Abstract:Zhejiang LNG Terminal is one of the largest terminal in China, the location’s environment of which is relatively complicated. In the design process of Zhejiang LNG terminal project, in order to determine a reasonable general layout to ensure the safety of the berthing ship, a physical model test method is taken. Three different layout schemes are compared in the model test. Through analyzing the movements and mooring forces of the ships under different schemes, a reasonable general layout is determined to provide a basis for the design.
