Building a resource-saving and environment-friendly modern port is the coastal port development concept in the new period. Based on the optimization of the water ecological environment in Guangzhou port as the orientation, this paper offers the ship sewage collection and treatment planning by analyzing the present situation of the municipal wastewater treatment facilities which can be used in ports, and estimates the quantity of sewage from arriving ships.
