With the rapid development of maritime economy, some old port cities are in the evolution of the third & fourth relationship of port-city. The new port areas are located in the coast or estuary area, and the old ports are facing to be urbanized renovated in the city center. Through the cases in foreign developed countries, this paper summarizes several adjustment modes of old ports to provide references for coastal cities in China.
