This paper summarizes the strengthening effects of jet grouting method for improving the backfilled ground at the back of berths No. 2 & No.3 in Xinsha port area of Guangzhou port based on the analysis of the implementation and improvement effect, and from the aspects including technological feasibility, structural safety, as well as the economicalness and operationability of the treatment scheme, etc.
