This paper analyzes the cruise tourism status and prospects for the development combining with the level of regional economic development in Guangdong province. According to the operating conditions of the cruise routes, the cruise tourists can be divided into Chinese passengers and foreign passengers of visiting cruise,based on different characteristics of which, the development levels of port cruise passenger traffic of various routes are predicted.
