The multi-storey transfer stations have been widely used and played a more and more important role in port engineering with the development of port construction. Based on practical design and construction experience of port constructions, this paper focuses on the installation load, and searches for the reasonable load combination. The method of optimizing the transfer station structure is put forward based on the concept design, and the importance of embedded part in design and construction is emphasized.
