The high-speed development of port construction in China brought port coastal resources decreasing rapidly. How to improve the coastline efficiently has become a more and more important principle that must be followed in port construction in China. In conditions of limited coastal resources and surrounding constraint, we realize the multi-purpose layout for the auto ro/ro, container, work boat and war material, etc, which greatly improves the shoreline utilization, and thus may serve as a model for the layout of multi-purpose terminals in port construction.
