Abstract:There is a difference between Code for pile foundation of Harbour Engineering (JTJ 254—1998) and Technical code for building pile foundation (JGJ 94—2008)in the parameter selection for calculation of single pile capacity. The difference of the parameters in clay between two codes is compared and corresponding solutions are given. At last, some suggestions for the code revision are proposed.
