The first phase of terminal project of Huadian Caofeidian Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Base adopts the diaphragm wall as the main structure of the sheet-pile quay, which is rare in China. Caofeidian area is a newly filling landscape near the sea, with the geology of fine sand and silty sand. The construction of the diaphragm wall is influenced by the tide and construction of the trough is difficult of, the hole is easily to collapse, and the requirement to the wall is strict. This article focuses on the key equipment of Huadian Caofeidian quay project, slot division and joint type selection, foundation treatment, guide wall design, mud and mix engineering, trough detection, hoisting of steel cage, concrete pouring, pipe joints, etc., as well as the control methods for some key technologies, which can ensure the quality of the project and may serve as a reference for similar projects.
