Eleven container termainals of 70,000~100,000 DWT will be built at the container operation area of Chuanshan port area at Ningbo-Zhoushan port, and then roads’collection and distribution capacity will reach 7 million TEU, then the operation area will connect well with the Chuanshan port area highway, and thus the port services will be improved. Based on the analysis of the collection and distribution in Chuanshan port area, we forecast the highway traffic collection and distribution volume. According to the general plan layout of the port area, the ground condition of the and the surroundings, and the stipulations in the Design Code for Highway Alignment, we determine the connection scheme of Chuanshan container operation area and Chuanshan port area highway.
