This paper explains the major considerations of the general layout of Beilun container harbor berth phase Ⅴ project, such as the natural condition of the project region and the relationship with the adjacent projects, etc. The paper also introduces the overall idea of the general layout of the project and further elaborates the key points of the layout of the dock axis, the width of dock, the bridge approach, the harbor basin, the yard, the assistant region, the container gate, the roadway of harbor district, and the collection and distribution of the port status, etc.
